Job Description:
As a Test Automation Analyst, you will work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and product owners to ensure that all testing activities occur in a timely fashion and to the level of quality demanded by the business. Ability to work in a "Hands-on" team environment, where creative solutions for automated test strategy are essential to meet project objectives.
Responsibilities
Perform Exhaustive functional testing for Banking applications
Design and execute functional, system, integration, regression, End to End Testing to support production operations and new enhancements within JPMorgan standards
Analyze system functional requirements and be able to derive test coverage based on available documentation and walkthroughs with subject matter experts
Work with both business and development teams to coordinate and schedule testing efforts, progress and resolve issues
Creation and maintenance of test data and automated regression packs
Creation of metrics and test status reporting

Responsibilities
- 5-6 years of Quality Assurance Test Automation experience with development background.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Quality Assurance concepts, metrics, SDLC methodologies and documentation standards (Agile Environment)
Hand-on experience of at least one object oriented programming language (Java, C# or python) preferably C#.
Ability to mine data, backend validation, and perform data quality analysis via SQL, Knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL, Oracle
Understanding of test automation, APIs or Web Services. Exposure in either in Cucumber or Fitnesse. Any GUI test automation experience in Selenium or QTP is desirable.
Ability to interact with developers and understand technical design
Ability to provide detailed analysis of test progress and results
